The Diagnosis of Parapelvic Cyst in the Kidneys

Parapelvic cysts of the kidneys are Simple kidney cyst, which are adjacent to the renal pelvis or the renal sinus. Parapelvic cysts are mostly caused by congenital factors. It occounts for 1% to 3% among all cases of renal cysts after more than 50 years old. Parapelvic cysts are usually single histological origin of the renal parenchyma or old-containing urine cyst.

The followings are the differential diagnosis of Parapelvic cyst:

1. Hydronephrosis: various conditions can cause hydronephrosis such as internal, external, congenital or acquired urinal system factors and hydronephrosis can occur at all ages.
