Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a genetic kidney disease worldwide including Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) and Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a progressively developing disease and can be divided into five stages.
Five Stages of Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
Emergence stage: As Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a genetic disease, it means that the patients are born with the cysts.
Growth stage: If untreated effectively, the cysts will enlarge persistently. At 30 to 40 ages, the cysts enlarge at a very fast speed. This development period of Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is termed as growth stage.
Tumefaction stage: When the size of cysts surpasses 4 cm, it means that Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) progresses into the third stage tumefaction stage. In this stage, the patients begin to present a series of clinical symptoms like high blood pressure, back pain, hematuria and so on. It is very urgent for the patients to receive treatment to prevent the disease progression.
Cyst ulceration stage: With the continuous enlargement of cysts, they are prone to rupture leading to cyst ulceration. Once cyst ulceration happens, they should take treatment like using antibiotics to prevent infections and even septemia.
Uremia stage: Approximately half of the patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) finally develop Uremia and have to depend on dialysis or kidney transplant to preserve their lives.
PKD Treatment Options - Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy
First, Effective ingredients of Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy promotes the blood inflow to kidneys and enhance the flow speed of blood circulation. By this, the Suction of blood flow will be more powerful. Second, ingredients of TCM soften the cyst wall, and inactivate cyst wall’s secretion of liquid. Softened cyst wall paves way for easier cyst liquid filtrating out into blood capillaries, and inactivated cyst wall become incapable of secreting more cyst liquid. So, once these cysts in kidney are shrunk, they hardly have the chance for relapse.
