most common symptoms of PKD. Then what is the cause of hematuria?
Humaturia usually won’t appear during the very early stage of PKD. While with
the enlargement of cysts and the increase of cysts pressure, the cysts may
burst, causing the bleeding and hematuria. The amount of bleeding varies very
much according to different patients. There are more than 60 percent of PKD
patients who have once or more than once hematuria.
When the hematuria occurs, there may be no obvious symptoms or there is just

connected with urinary tract, there will be serious pain.
The enlargement of cysts and hypertension are the most dangerous factors for
the hematuria. Besides, infections and stress reaction may easily cause the
large area of heatureia.
Therefore, as for the treatment of hematuria, it is very important to prevent
the enlargement and burst of cysts. Besides, patients should pay attention to
the controlling of blood pressure and avoid infections, injuries, high-pressure
of the abdomen.
