Creatinine is a kind of chemical molecule produced by creatine. It also
belongs to metabolin that are disposed by kidneys. It has a close relationship
with kidneys.
What is the relationship between creatinine and kidneys?
Creatinine is discharge from body by kidneys and its levels can reflect renal
functions. Once produced, it enters into bloodstream to flows through kidneys
where it is mainly discarded. The amount of creatinine is determined by muscle
mass and its amount is constant because of the constant muscle mass. Besides,
kidneys can neither excrete nor reabsorb creatinine. Hence, the levels of
creatinine can reflect how well the kidneys are working.
How can we know its levels? Generally speaking, you should know your
creatinine level to make sure whether your kidneys are abnormal. To know its
levels, some tests, such as creatinine in blood test, creatinine in urine test
and creatinine clearance test are required to take. We should know that not all
of above test is required at one time and the tests above not all the tests
related with creatinine levels. Usually, the test results have reference range
and your normal creatinine level is also liked with age, gender, weight and
race. You may be concerned with your creatinine levels when it is higher or
lower than normal levels.
How to do with abnormal creatinine levels?
Abnormal creatinine levels are often the results of malfunctioning kidneys.
The methods merely aiming to lower creatinine levels are not recommended because
creatinine levels are only an indicator of abnormal kidneys. Thus, the most
important thing is to recover kidneys. However, current treatment methods are
unable to achieve what we want. That thousands of patients with kidney disease
are under dialysis, a painful way to survive, is a best proof. Now that current
methods cannot give great help than its ability, is there another way to save
them? We know that traditional Chinese medicine has powerful ability on treating
many diseases, Micro-Chinese medicine, generated from traditional Chinese
medicine, has many disadvantages in treating kidneys disease. And its effects
are experienced by many patients. To know more, email me at
