A: I have polycystic kidney disease and the largest cyst in my kidney is
5.5X4.3cm. Can you tell me what will my PKD develop into?
Q: As PKD disease will develop as age, you can do some early prevention and
treatment to improve the systemic condition and slow down the progress of the
disease.
From the pathology of PKD disease, the patient will occur high blood pressure
in one’s 30s; as the cysts grow in size and number, the kidney functions will be
influenced with elevated serum creatinine level and some other symptoms in one’s
40s; there will occur kidney failure in one’s 50th, then the patient will have
to do dialysis or kidney transplant.
At present, Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy has a good effect on shrinking
the size of the cysts, controlling the polycystic kidney disease and relieving
the symptoms. If the kidney function has been damaged a lot, Immunotherapy is
also needed to differentiate into new functional cells of the kidneys to replace
the dead ones, so as to improve the kidney function and change the gene
environment for the cysts. Therefore, your polycystic kidney disease can be well
controlled and its progress can be slowed down.
For PKD patients, you need to pay attention to your diet and daily life: Do
not eat salty food, spicy food, contaminated food, broiled dishes; have a good
rest, avoid voilent physical activity and wound on abdomen; prevent cold and
infection, for when kidney cyst patients suffer from cold or infection, the
condition will be dangerous. If you still need help, you can email to kidney-treatment@hotmail.com.
