In this report, we give an analysis of 124 Polycystic Kidney Disease Cases
who are treated in Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital from the year of 2003 to
2007. All of patients have got satisfactory curative effects with our innovative
TCM treatment- Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy.
1. Introduction
Male (60 cases), Female (64 cases), Age (6~70), Average age (41), Disease
history (1 day to 22 years), Average disease history (48.5 months),
Hospitalization (3 to 67 days), Average hospitalization (18.6 days), Treatment
(0~5 times).
Medical history of PKD (67 cases), Combined with PLD (60 cases),
Complications: Kidney Stone (7), Calcification in kidney (75), UTIs (5),
Hypertension (60), Low back pain (84).
2. Treatment
▪ General Therapy: low-sodium and low-protein diet, stop bleeding, control
high blood pressure, symptomatic treatment.
▪ Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy: prescriptions vary with different
conditions, 45 minutes per time, twice per day.
3. Curative effects
1. Alleviation of symptoms (after 3 weeks' treatment)
Low back pain (84) -- complete remission (75), greatly improve (9);
Blood in the urine (34) -- complete remission (27,79%), greatly improve
(5,14.7%), unchanged (2,6%);
