Apocynum Venetum

Apocynum venetum, or Luobuma in Chinese, is a traditional and popular Eastern herb with a long history of use as a medicine and tea for healthy blood pressure, cholesterol, and dizziness. Luobuma effect on blood pressure is gradual yet long-lasting, making it an ideal botanical for managing long-term hypertension.
Luobama has been studied in animals and is being tested in human trials. Most of the published research on Luobuma demonstrates it has blood pressure lowering potential and also, like many herbs, has antioxidant activity.

Gastrodia Elata BL

Gastrodia was first mentioned in an old Chinese medical book around A.D. 100. Gastrodia is said to have sedative and analgesic properties. Research has indicated that an active compound in Gastrodia, gastrodin, may exert a sedative, hypnotic, and antispasmodic effects in animals. It may also increase blood flow and decrease the peripheral resistance.

Ginkgo Biloba L

Ginkgo can increase blood flow to the head and extremities. Ginkgo has anti-inflammatory effects and reduces blood clots, reducing the risk of stroke. It has antioxidant properties and strengthens blood vessels.

Gynostemma Pentaphyllum


Gynostemma Pentaphyllum (Jiaogulan) is an adaptogen and contains over 80 kinds of saponins, known as gypenosides. Gypenosides are similar to the ginsenosides and panaxosides in Asian ginseng. Jiaogulan has demonstrated beneficial effect on blood pressure regulation, immune system, fat metabolism, cholesterol levels, and physical endurance.
