Renal anemia is one of common complications of renal failure. People always
feel fatigue and have shortness of breath. Besides, no redness presents in their
face, so they usually looks pale and yellow. It is known that blood transfusion
is best method to improve the renal anemia. Is blood transfusion suitable for
renal anemia?
For the people with malnutrition, blood transfusion is best method for them
to remit the symptoms of anemia quickly. However, it is not suitable for people
with renal failure. Why? The red blood cells need a hormone called erythrogenin
to keep alive and this hormone is secreted by kidney. But the damaged kidney
tissues are incapable to supply the hormone for them. So a large number of red
blood cells in the normal blood would be dead after they receive blood
transfusion. Then nitrogenous wastes are produced, which increases the level of
toxic substances in the blood. Kidney has to endure the increased strain and may
have further damage, so blood transfusion is not suggested for them unless they
have a life danger.
How to remit renal anemia for patients with renal failure?
Renal failure is not an irreversible disease and people also have a high
chance to be recovered. Many patients may be disappointed with the serious
impaired kidneys and believe that no therapy can save them. In fact, some kidney
tissues are still alive and cannot function due to severe hurt. As long as the
damaged ones can be repaired, they are hopeful to function well and provide
hormone to red blood cells.
In our hospital, removing anemia can be achieved by Immunotherapy. For renal
failure, immune protection (one step of immunotherapy) is very important. It
adopts Chinese herbs and Immunotherapy to repair kidney tissues. The damaged
cells can be mended by the active ingredients of Chinese herbs in order to work
well. But all the drugs cannot provide kidney cells for people. Immunotherapy
can realize it. In this way, renal anemia can be removed by immunotherapy.
