Polycystic Kidney Disease in Children

Kidney Disease Hospital in China offers diagnosis, care and treatment in a child-friendly environment for children who have complications of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.
As we all know PKD is genetic disease. Once one family member is diagnosed with PKD, all of his family members will feel anxious.Generally, if one parent is experiencing this disease, each of his children has around 50% of suffering it. If parents are experiencing this disease, each of their children has around 75% of suffering it. Hence, it is necessary for parents with PKD to make their children tested.
Usually, at least one parent must have the disease for a child to inherit it. In 25 percent of cases, there is no family history of Polycystic Kidney Disease(PKD). These cases are new mutations in a family. Parents would not be at increased risk to have additional children with PKD, but the child with PKD would have a 50/50 chance to pass the gene on to their children.
Autosomal dominant PKD is often called the adult polycystic kidney disease. Symptoms usually develop between the ages of 30 and 40 (but they can begin as early as childhood).
Therefore, how to treat polycystic kidney disease in children?
The Latest Method to Treat PKD:Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is thought to be the latest method to treat this disease. With the action of this therapy, the size of cysts will shrink. Once the cysts shrink, their kidneys are more likely to get rid of kidney damage or even Kidney Failure. And then patients can have a better life with their family.
