These compounds are known carcinogens and have been associated with cancer of the oral cavity, urinary bladder, esophagus, stomach and brain. All these will shorten your health and your healthy kidneys.

As doctor Levin said that a hot dog a day could send your kidneys to an early grave, thereby, patients with PKD should avoid or at least limit consuming hot dogs.

Instead, patients should take more fruits and vegetables. All these food are healthy. Meantime, they should take less processed meats, such as hot dog, deli meat, hamburger etc.
