Is Dialysis the Only Option for PKD with Creatinine 8.8
"My husband is having Polycystic Kidney which was detected about 8 years back. Today when we checked the serum creatinine level it showed 8.80mg where as the normal level shows 0.1 - 1.5 mg. How should i tackle? Is only dialysis an option?"
As you have said, your husband has Polycystic Kidney Disease, and the level of creatinine is 8.8. That's really too high. However, if treated promptly, the disease can still be reversed.
About the question that how your husband tackle the elevated creatinine, I first want to tell you why this problem occurs. Commonly, Polycystic Kidney patients have high creatinine. A higher level means that more than half of the renal function has been lost. In addition, lowering high serum creatinine level is not the key point of treatment. What we should do is to eliminate the PKD cysts and restore the impaired kidneys.
How about dialysis treatment? Dialysis can be used to help patients remove the accumulated waste products within the body due to impaired kidneys. Creatinine is one of these wastes. By receiving this treatment, patients can keep a normal life. However, dialysis cannot repair the damaged renal function, so it fails to improve the kidney function and reverse Polycystic Kidney.
In our hospital, we use an innovative and effective way to solve the problem of Polycystic Kidney -- Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy. This therapy has been used to treat PKD for more than 20 years in our hospital. More than 2,000 people with Polycystic Kidney have been treated effectively. The successful rate is 95%. So we recommend you to consider this natural therapy for your husband's illness.
Micro-Chinese Medicine can function to enhance the blood circulation on cysts walls, stop the growth of cysts and shrink them over time. Moreover, while reducing the cystic pressure to around kidney tissues, kidney function can also be repaired gradually. Your husband can get rid of dialysis with improved kidney function. Certainly, the curative effect depend on individual disease condition. Any help, e-mail to pkddoctor@hotmail.com .
