Daily Health Care of Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD)

Living Environment: The developing of cysts is closely related to living environment. Meanwhile, prevent infections (Cold, Urethritis, etc.) Inflammation is one of the main causes of cyst growing. You should avoid using any medication which can do harm to kidney. You can consult your doctor about what kind of medications will do harm to kidneys. Holding back is not suggested. Shower is better than bath to avoid inflammation. Well control of blood pressure is an important thing to prevent you from Renal Failure. When there is blood in urine, don’t do a lot of activities.
