Many patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease(PKD) are put on dialysis out of
helplessness and advice from doctors. Then is dialysis right or wrong for
Polycystic Kidney Disease patients? Is there a better way available?
Dialysis, a kidney substitute therapy, is usually applied when the kidneys
are severely damaged and can not fulfill their normal filtrating and excreting
functions. Although dialysis can help temporarily excrete accumulated metabolic
wastes, the kidneys can not be repaired through dialysis.
As our body produces metabolic wastes continuously, patients will have to
rely on dialysis to excrete the wastes. On the one hand, after dialysis,
patients feel temporarily relieved; one the other hand, however, besides the
cost, each time after dialysis, patients may feel rather fatigued. In addition,
chances of complications and infections will increase with time.
Polycystic Kidney Disease, characterized by growth of numerous cysts in the
kidneys, develops gradually and continuously. The cysts develop both in number
and in size with time, gradually causing kidney augment in size and in shape.
The augmented cysts put pressure on the kidneys, pressing kidney nephrons and
renal tissues. Consequently kidney function declines gradually. In case kidneys
are so severely damaged that they can not fulfill their normal filtrating
functions of metabolic wastes. At this time, dialysis is taken into
consideration, which, is not a fundamental way and can not prevent the cysts
from growing.
Dialysis, right or wrong? The advantage of dialysis lies in that it can
temporarily help to get rid of metabolic products, which creates a stable
internal environment for another therapy to take on effect. Such a therapy
should have the function of controlling and shrinking the cysts. We may seek the
answer from traditional Chinese medicine which has thousands of years' history
and can treat disease from root causes.
Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, more than simple Chinese medicine, is the
super-finely shattered Chinese medicine of kidney disease. With external
application, the effective medicine is penetrated to kidney lesions, for which
the medicine can be made full use of. Compared with dialysis, they are easy to
perform and brings no side effects.
More exactly, Micro-Chinese Medicine can function to shrink and control the
cysts from two aspects;
Firstly, expand blood vessels around the cysts, accelerate blood circulation
on cyst walls, promote permeability on cyst walls, reverse the pressure
difference between the internal of the cysts and blood vessels; eventually
cystic fluid can be reabsorbed and excreted with urine.
Secondly, soften cyst walls and prevent the cyst from swelling by inhibiting
secretion of cyst epithelial cells, for which the cysts can be withdrawn
gradually.
With the above two measures, the cysts can be withdrawn and well controlled.
And relapse can also be avoided.
