Name: Miss. Lee
Gender: Female
Age: 52
Country: Chinese American
Diagnosis: Polycystic Kidney Disease
Medical History: Miss Zhang was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease
3years ago. In the past years, Miss Zhang visited many larger hospitals in US.
All doctors recommended surgery to remove the larger cysts, but she refused for
she got the idea that surgery would lead to repeated relapse from her mother
(who also suffered from PKD).
Finally, she turned her hope to Traditional Chinese Medicine from her
motherland which was a kind of natural remedy deriving from natural herbs. In
order to get a regular treatment for PKD, she came to our hospital.
Treatment: after the all-side examinations, she was given the Micro-Chinese
Medicine Osmotherapy twice per day for one month.
Here is a comparison before and after treatment.
Before treatment:
Creatinine 208μmol/l, BUN12.8mmol/l;
Left kidney 15.8×4.8cm and its largest kidney cyst 4.0×3.2cm, right kidney
14.5×5.0cm and its largest kidney cyst 4.0×4.0cm;
Blood pressure 160/90mmhg
After treatment:
Creatinine 150μmol/l, BUN9.8mmol/l;
Left kidney 13.0×3.2cm and its largest kidney cyst 2.0×1.8cm, right kidney
12.8×5.0cm and its largest kidney cyst 2.1×2.0cm;
Blood pressure 120/80mmhg
Comment: Polycystic Kidney Disease is a genetic kidney disease. As the age
increases, the renal cysts will become larger and larger and renal function will
drop little by little. This is the rule for the progression of Polycystic Kidney
Disease and nobody can change it.
Surgery can remove the larger renal cysts, but it will lead to more space for
small ones to grow up. This is why patients will experience the relapse of PKD
after surgery.
Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy derives from Traditional Chinese Medicine
Osmotherapy which shrinks renal cysts by restricting the secretion of cyst
fluids naturally. As long as the cyst fluids generate less, your renal cysts
will become smaller and smaller, which will not damage your kidneys finally.
