(Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease) and ARPKD (Autosomal Recessive
Polycystic Kidney Disease).
What are symptoms of PKD?
-Back pain, flank pain, side pain, abdominal pain
-blood in urine, foam in urine.
-liver cyst

Treatment
Surgery. Surgery is the most common treatment for patients with Polycystic
Kidney Disease. Surgeries are mainly Percutaneous Kidney Surgery, Retrograde
Intra-renal Surgery (RIRS) and Percutaneous Kidney Surgery. Each of the surgery
can remove parts of renal cysts in a short time. However, as it fails to focus
on the root of renal cysts, PKD usually relapses after treatment. Meantime,
repeated surgeries will cause great trauma to drop kidney functions.
Herbs (what are the recommended herbs for PKD). Chinese herbal medicine has
established since 2500years ago, which can take effects in the lining membrane
which generates cyst fluids constantly. Thereby, it can stop the growth of renal
cyst. Meantime, it can shrink the existed renal cyst by transforming the
structure of lining cells. The newest development of Chinese herbal medicine is
called Micro-Chinese Medicine, which is an external application and is used to
shrink renal cysts in polycystic kidneys without any side effects.
Immunotherapy. Its main function for PKD is to improve kidney functions by
differentiating into new renal cells. It is usually used for PKD patients who
step into renal failure stage. Normally, with the help of Immunotherapy, renal
functions can improve in a certain degree and patients can expect to avoid the
dialysis if his or her GFR keeps higher than 15.
